In AION class, at level nine the role of the Assassins is a Daeva. The Daeva follows the Star of Death. While acting as the lead role in the offensive tactics of the game team, the assassin will hide and then deliver a lethal blow to the enemy. This makes the assassin a key part of the game playing team in AION. The role is that of a strong offensive force. Compared to the Cleric they are far better at battle. How to choose the best weapon for the Assassin:
While the dagger offers an advantage of speed. It's accuracy is about the same of the sword. The best method of attack is to have one dagger in each hand. This double handed attack is the main strength that the assassin has after its stealth abilities. The bow is used to render a trap for the Ranger to come in later and destroy the enemy.

When using this class of player remember the strengths and the weaknesses of the role. If properly utilized the Assassin can be a lethal offense to the game battles. While their strength lies in Melee, the Assassin can be properly utilized in the game to render the enemy weak. Then the rest of the team can deliver the final blow. Remember to consider the enemy and their tactics when playing AION. It is only then that you may be strong and able to beat your enemy. While the Ranger offer more agility, the Assassin can be the silent but deadly killer on the team. That's something to consider as well. They can also act as backup to the team as an attack occurs. Just watch as the game play unfolds and know the strengths of this role. Use those according to what is best and you will be "Boss".
