The only service a microblog offers is public message distribution. It's by pointing out tweets.
Here's how it works. A user subscribes for the microblogging service and posts short messages. Other users sign up to follow the posts of person members; they are then notified when someone they follow makes a new post. Microblog posts are utilized to convey private information and opinions; businesses also use them to make commercial announcements which is where microblog marketing comes in.
The most popular microblogging service today is Twitter. Twitter has more than 100 million users, many of them followers of friends, celebrities, and businesses. The next-largest service is Tumblr, with just 3 million users.
