Designing a Workout Schedule


You just after a great deal of thought have t hit the gym. You now want to get the physique like Arnie from the movie The Terminator - 2, or for like Angie Jolie depending on whether you are a man or a woman. You are very energetic and try to kill yourself with routines and try to do as many pushups or bench-presses as you can. Unfortunately this is wrong and will not help you gain or lose weight or increase the muscle. The idea of a work out is to start slowly so that all those muscles are strengthened and those joints loosened. If you feel drained out and your joints kill you after a workout, then it means that you following the wrong work out technique. The idea of a work out is to feel refreshed and make you want to do it again the next day

To get this started you have set a workout schedule that has to be followed diligently to get that dream physique

How do you go about it?

1) PLAN, PLAN, PLAN - The idea here is plan out your schedule, so that all parts of the body is focused on. You first have to decide the number of days you would be hitting the gym in a particular month. Then divide the routine into Cardio Vascular and Weight Lifting. Then stick to the routine diligently for results.

2) CARDIO VASCULAR - The workout components under the cardio vascular regime include swimming, cycling, jogging, and the treadmill. Biking etc. Cardiovascular exercises help you to relax and stretch those tired muscles. It can also build the stamina of a person. It is advised that you do cardio vascular exercises in the beginning and the end of the month.

3) WEIGHT TRAINING - Every instructor in the gym will ask you lift weights that will help you to get those muscles. However the idea here is to focus on all parts of the body. You have work on your shoulders, legs, and biceps triceps. You have to very careful in choosing how much weight you can lift. Always be on the safe side and carry a pound below your capacity.

The idea behind a workout schedule is that it should be complete and should be followed to the letter. The way you lift weight also matters a lot. You have to visit a gym that has an instructor who provides you a good schedule.
