The entire process of printing an image in Photoshop is slightly different in the Windows and Mac OS's. The main differences are in the Print Settings dialog box, in which you can pick a printer and specify orientation, paper size, along with other parameters. Note that unlike the old Page Setup command, paper Settings command can't be accessed through the File menu, but rather it's saved like a button in the Print dialog box.
Print settings in Microsoft Windows With Windows applications for example Photoshop, you open paper Settings dialog box by choosing File - Print and clicking paper Settings button. The Properties dialog box then appears.
On the Main and Page Setup tabs, you can choose the paper size, orientation (portrait or landscape), along with other things - for example which paper tray to make use of. Click Save, or Preview, revisit the primary Print dialog box.
Choose File - Print and click paper Settings button. You can set the specified printer, page size, and extra parameters, based on your printer. Click Save, or Preview, revisit the primary Print dialog box.
In Mac OS X, you can also pick a printer from paper dialog box, much like you can in Windows. Also in Mac OS X, if you are connected straight to a printer through the USB port, the system automatically detects the printer. If you are on the network, pick a printer in the Printer pop-up menu in the Print dialog box.
