Warhammer online has been steadily growing as on the most popular MMORPG on the web. The game is focused on an ongoing war between the forces of Destruction and Order. One of the oldest of all races is the Dwarfs. They are an industrious and ancient race that lives in the mountains that have been abandoned by Orcs and Goblins. The Dwarfs had battles with the Orcs and Goblins for over a century and eventually conquered the mountain land as their own. They are very proud and stubborn creatures and although their numbers are dwindling, they will not speak of it, almost as if they are unaware of the situation at all. They typically have a sour outlook on life and are essentially a doomed race.
Their favorite things are ale and gold. Dwarfs are excellent craftsman as well and love working with all sorts of metal and ores. There are four careers specifically for Dwarfs. The Ironbreaker is a master of defense. He is quarrelsome and gruff, perfect for battling. They are bred only to destroy and can be an extremely deadly opponent. The next is Runepriests. They are not essentially magical but they can create great power.
Their power comes from an ancient from studying and learning about Runes. Next is the Engineer, the master of weapons, with everything from grenades to guns. They hand make their weapons and can easily blast opponents to pieces from afar. Lastly is the Slayer, a master of battle. They are filled with rage and show their intensity whenever they are on the battlefield. When fighting, you can see the sadness and anger filling up inside them and unleashing on whoever crosses their path.
The Empire race is made up human descendants from the old world. They are always in danger due to the many perils of living with foes hiding in each shadow and around every corner. The humans are constantly at battle between themselves due to cults and it there is always a sense of paranoia and fear in everybody.
They work closely with the High Elves and Dwarfs for aid since the land has been turned dark from the Destruction. There are four career options for the Empire- Bright Wizard, Warrior Priest, Witch Hunter and Knight of the Blazing Sun. The Bright Wizard has a mastery of fire magic and power of the Keys. He is extremely powerful and can use his spells to burn foes and burn up their own intense magic. They are the wisest of the Empire careers. The Warrior Priest uses their faith as their lives only direction.
They believe in the holy power and let it guide them through battle. The Witch Hunter seeks out and destroys corruption by using various tools and tactics. They are very fast and agile, definitely a force not to be reckoned with. A Knight of the Blazing Sun is known as being a born commander. They are confident in battle and are great warriors.
The High Elves are the most ancient of all races with a great history that spans millions of years. Elves possess great magic capabilities and are possibly the most powerful of all races. They have a thoughtful, meticulous approach to fighting, along with their intense mental discipline and patience. While fighting, they display a graceful approach with a lethal end for any of their foes.
The first of the four career paths is the Swordmaster. They are different from the rest of the High Elves because they have great swordsmanship with either a longsword or greatsword. Like most Elves, they are very agile, which helps them be even better battlers. An Archmage is a master of magic.
They have studied the art of magic and grace for centuries and that makes them extremely difficult to defeat. The Shadow Warrior train in three specific groups- scouting, skirmish and assault. These techniques make them expert at maneuvering through the forest and attacking enemies with their longsword. The last and most powerful of the High Elves are the White Lion. They are essentially hunters, but are much more in tune with nature. They are a tough opponent on the battlefield, strong and focused on winning any fight they get into.
